What's New September 26, 2001 -- More new pix! Highlights include being a flower girl at Uncle John's wedding, visiting Sue & family on Block Island, hanging out at Funfest and dressing up in purple. May 30, 2001 -- Tons and tons of new pictures -- too many to list here. Just go to Cate's toddler page and poke around. In other news, Joe is now back in Boston permanently now (thank goodness), and will be teaching at Boston College in the Fall. May 1, 2001 -- Pix from Cate's traditional Korean birthday celebration. The great news is that we're all caught up now and have finished up Year 2000 pix. Yay! Also, pix of Cate with her favorite objects du jour. April 30, 2001 -- Hi. Went to Earthfest at the Hatch Shell on Saturday. Cate danced to Joan Osborne and fell asleep to Blues Traveler. Also, took Cate to work for Take Our Daughters to Work Day. I think she wants to be a Java programmer.Recent pix from Easter (Cate got the chocolate thing, liked the Easter basket concept, but didn't get the searching for eggs thing), and brunch with Emma and Kate. Catching up on older pix we've got Cate visiting cousin Jane and dog, Cate playing with Miranda , and some pix from Christmas in New Jersey. April 15, 2001 -- We're bums. Our apologies to all Cate fans, most especially her grandparents in Taiwan. :( To make this Web site easier to manage, we've created a new area to track Cate's second year of Catedom. Highlights include Cate bundled up with everywhere to go, Cate in the buff as she gets ready for bathtime, Cate and Sydney playing in the Discovery Room at the Museum of Science, and Cate's first Christmas in Seattle. Also, Cate trying on my hat. Lots more pix to come! December 5, 2000 -- Oh boy, lots of catching up to do. Big events like Halloween, Bryant's wedding, and Thanksgiving. And Cate's first birthday! Also, managed to take pix of her hanging out with Susy (her nanny) and her great aunt. Also, got pix of a visit to Temple Bar for Jim's birthday and her first ride on a carousel. Finally, random pix of her learning to walk as she hangs out by the ottoman (the replacement coffee table), cruises around, and sports a cap. (P.S. She officially took her first steps on Nov. 18 -- but no pix of her walking unassisted yet.) September 25, 2000 -- A busy weekend. Lunch at Fig's in Wellesley, then off to pick some apples (for some delicious apple pie). September 19, 2000 -- Grandma and Grandpa Lee came up for a quick 24-hour visit and brought Cate a gift from her almost-Aunt Jean--a handknit sweater that fits beautifully. And the timing's perfect, Cate wore it to a nearby park. September 5, 2000 -- Time to fill in some gaps. In my haste to post Helene wedding pix, I skipped a whole month of pix starting from Sydney's birthday party. Nice thing about digital albums is that inserting pix in between other pix is much easier online than with paper albums. August 29, 2000 -- As Joe begins his second term teaching in San Fran, MYL is trying to commit to weekly new uploads of the darling daughter so her traveling pops can see her for himself. So, here are some pix of Cate with her stuffed animal buddies. August 19, 2000 -- Went to Wisconsin for Helene & Tarek's wedding. It was wonderful, you can see for yourself. This series of pix marks a first for this site--non-Cate focused pix. For those of you who crave more of a kid focus, check here first. July 12, 2000 -- Wow. Tons more pictures, starting here. Pictures include new trips to the beach and a week-long vacation to Seattle. Dropped Cate off with her grandparents and went sea-kayaking & camping in the San Juan Islands for three days -- returned with peeling noses and very, very sore arms. June 19, 2000 -- Still more pictures, including another visit with Cate's best friend Sydney (check out her own, very cool site), and Cate's first baseball game (a new, long-suffering Red Sox fan is born). June 16, 2000 -- Well, we took so many pictures of Cate that we finally ran out of space at Earthlink. So, we have moved here, to Tripod, and now have a whopping 50 megabytes of space to play with. Prepare to be inundated! (And please ignore the popup window; it's one of the downsides of getting free web-hosting. If you don't touch it, it will sit quietly in the background.) June 13, 2000 -- Lots more pictures (start here), including a visit to a friend and a day at the beach. Joe is busy writing. Mie-Yun is busy growing her company (feeding it lots of nutritious goodies). Cate is rolling around like a bowling ball. May 24, 2000 -- More pics added (start here). Joe is grading papers (ugh); Mie-Yun is working too hard (ugh, ugh). Cate is just fine, though. May 5, 2000 -- More and more pictures. Can't seem to stop. Cate is growing at a disturbing rate. Joe's in Boston for the summer, at long last (no more commuting, thank goodness). April 9, 2000 -- Yet more pictures. Plus a visit to parents' old haunts. April 2, 2000 -- Added more pictures. Adventures in solid food, now beginning. March 20, 2000 -- Cate is smiling and gurgling up a storm. The bi-coastal madness continues, with Joe commuting weekly to San Francisco. Yet despite the commute, he winds up seeing Cate almost as much as Mie-Yun does (Internet madness continues, as well -- plenty of madness to go around).
